Well 2009 is now upon us! We want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year and good luck at keeping to all your new years resolutions!

We’d like to take a look back at the year that has passed for Kristen Stewart. Here is a compilation of our favorite 2008 moments, by the staff of Kristen Stewart Web. Feel free to shout out with your on selections here!

Best news:
Mycah says: All of the promotion surrounding Twilight! It was so amazing to have something new literally every week. Also all of the beautiful magazine pictorials of Kristen, the announcements of K-11, The Runaways and New Moon!

Laura says: Hmm Well I’m pretty new to the Twilight world, so hearing that Kristen and co were signed up for the next two movies was really exciting. I’m also excited to see Kristen in The Runaways, she seemed so happy about getting the part and I think she’ll play it perfectly.

Worst news: There really wasn’t anything too terrible this year, in my opinion. The loss of Catherine as a director is saddening, but the Twilight films will go on and this doesn’t directly affect Kristen so that’s good. I suppose something I personally hated was the negative remarks about the infamous Twilight TV Spot (underwear scene) and Kristen’s suspicious ’smoking’ candids, I won’t delve into that subject further, but you might know what I’m speaking of! ;) Lastly, I suppose because Kristen has blown up this year the paparazzi seem to hound her often, and I don’t really enjoy this for her as she seems very private and all, but as her star rose this year it was only to be expected unfortunately. But these are really minor negative whines for an overall amazing year!

Laura says: All the rubbish about Kristen being bratty about doing Twilight promotion really got to me. Even if she doesn’t like it, I don’t blame her. I think anyone would be a little overwhelmed by 1000’s of screaming girls.
